Rainbow Cats

Hi Everyone, I am playing again with my Stampotique stamps - the current challenge is one layer - my favorite theme! Aren't they cute? I especially love the little pink vampire cat. I started out sponging 4 different colors. I then added the drips with an iStencil Added the cats and colored them with Inktense pencils in similar colors. Added white Sharpie accents. The sentiment is by Neat and Tangled. Meowwww and Happy Stamping! Also linking up with: Addicted to Stamp and More - CAS

So Suzy and AAA Card Challenge

Hi Everyone, So Suzy is sponsoring the  AAA Card Challenge and the So Suzy DT is playing along. The theme is "Bright and Beautiful" And what could be more beautiful than ice-cream? ;)  My So Suzy stamps:  I used the Ice Cream Cone  and stamped it repeatedly with my Misti (did some masking). I colored them with water brush markers and added the heat embossed Birthday sentiment . Also added black splatters. I hope you find some time to play along at AAA Challenges !  You may win some So Suzy Stamps :)

So Suzy Blooms

Hi Everyone, I love those flowers that Olesya designed - just awesome! They are part of the new Spring Release from So Suzy Stamps. Olesya Bloom, Olesya Side Bloom , Here for You And that is how this card evolved: Started with Yupo paper and heat embossed the Blooms - did some masking. of course. You have to be careful with the heat embossing, as Yupo is essentially plastic and tends to warp. But it can be done, as you can see. I used  water brush pens to color the blooms. Moved the color around with another water brush until I was happy with how it looked. Gave them some light blue background. Stamped the sentiment onto light blue paper and die cut it. Added another strip of teal paper at the bottom. I hope you liked this! Linking up with: Kreativ Durcheinander - Blumig

Guest Designing at Challenge Up Your Life #65

Hi Everyone, this is my last guest designing post for Challenge up your Life . It was so much fun to be part of this! Thank you CYUL! This challenge has the cue word "FOREST" and that is what I came up with: I used an old Hero Arts stamp (K5797)  - already shows a forest, so that was the easy part. It is a wooden stamp, so the first thing I did was detach it from its wood block and put it in my Misti. I stamped the trees in black. I then masked the moon and shifted the paper just a tad to the right and stamped again with Versafine. Added Clear embossing powder and treated it with my heat gun. with the mask in place I sponged the top part (masked off the sides). You can see all this a bit better in the close-up picture. You basically get a white outline to the trees, which gives it a lot of dimension. I also made sure the white line is to the left of the trees, as my moon is on the left and would illuminate that side more. Added the sentiment (Neat

Spring and Winter

Hi Everyone, I have a Twofer today, as Darnell would call it and two very different cards. The first one I made for the Ellen Hudson Pinsights challenge  - see the mood board below. I used the Mondo Hydrangea - heat embossed it onto Bristol paper and colored it with a combination of oxide inks and water brush pens. The die cut thanks is by CUTplorations . Lovely, that mood board, isn't it? I also added Wink of Stella to the hydrangea, but it dos not show well in my pictures. My second card I made for Merry Mondays . Since Muse Christmas Visions is now monthly I need to play with the "competition" to get my Christmas cards done without too much stress in the end. The theme is "Kraft". Heat embossed the Hero Arts wreath (CG485) and added tiny pearls and gems. Added the twine. Again the die cuts are from CUTplorations . Just in case you fell in love with the die cuts - use  code STAMPGIRLCORNELIA to get 20% off on all

STAMPlorations Things with Wings Blog Hop Reminder

Hi Everyone, this is a reminder that the fabulous Things with Wings Blog Hop from STAMPlorations is coming to an end :( on April 30. I hope you had fun joining in! Here is another card I made with my new CUTplorations dies - no wings here, but definitely celebrating spring! Perhaps you remember THIS card I made for the first day of the hop? Well, today's card is made with the left overs. Why throw anything out? No way, not when it is so pretty! As you can see, I die cut the flowers into Kraft card stock and then filled in with the insides from teh previous card. a little fiddly, but not too bad if you catch the little leaves on Washi tape, before you lift off the outlines. Fill them in, add Scotch tape on the back to prevent them from falling out and voila you have a new card! The drops are Nuvo drops. My supplies: Trendy Flower Dies ,  Hello Sunshine , Lacy Edges and Borders *Commenting and linking up is from April 5 to April 30, 11:55 p
