CASEploration at STAMPloration #7

Hi Everyone,

Our guest designer for this month is going to be Karen Dunbrook from Snippets. Karen is amazingly creative and she just creates absolutely gorgeous cards. Here is my take on hers:

My materials:

Fond Expressions 2, Retro Circles - ARTplorations Stencil, Flutterby - ARTplorations Stencil

Made the background with lightly gessoing the stencil and then sponging distress inks over the dried gesso. Added the sentiment and lastly used embossing paste for the butterflies. Added slight pencil accents to the butterflies to make them stand out a bit more.

Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. If not, no worries, catch the details below. Of course a birthday card was in order. I made a gel press background with Fresco Chalk Paints (Aquamarine, Banana and Slimed). I used the cute set Party 2 from Craft Emotions and colored the critters with watercolors and markers. Fuzzy cut them and added them to my card. The sentiment is from Darkroom Door.
